The continental tradition ain't got shit on the Analytic crew, Hume, Ayer, Lord Russell, Quine and Wittgenstein!

Politically, I am pretty left wing, even for Canadian philosophy students, a group that's pretty damn left wing.

  • I just can’t take the religion/science fight anymore. Religion and science aren’t in conflict. All the stuff science works on that opposes ‘religion’ was just superstition. The relevant part of religion is untouchable by science, as science is untouchable by religion. It’s like a shark fighting a lion for territory. Neither can possibly occupy the territory of the other without being ridiculous. There’s no point. Also, no fight can last over 2000 years without getting totally played out.
